We love our hand-knotted carpets very much. And for this love to be in you, we believe that they should be produced under fair conditions. Therefore, we support the working conditions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the principles set out in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Likewise, we only select those carpet suppliers who exactly meet those stringent criteria and who also demonstrably consider them in their production. Regular inspections carried out by us secure this process. Child labor was once cultural. However, we do not find you up to date. Should a supplier breach our ethical principles, we immediately stop any cooperation. Because a beautiful carpet is only as valuable as the well-being of its knotter, because he has created it in complicated craft work.
Thus, our carpets stand for fair working conditions in the producing countries, for the granting of progressive rights for the workers as well as for strict ethical standards, which are regularly controlled by us.
